The early morning snowfall around Salt Creek was a beautiful and inspiring place to do some photography

It opens up with a few box elder trees along the bank in which I can isolate to photograph them and their reflection on the creek

I stood up from where I was sitting on the log and took a couple last shots when I noticed two moose coming out from the pine forest and into the lake to feed on the vegetation

THE EDGES OF A CREEK DREAM LAKE (687-3583)After receiving 2 3 inches of snow overnight, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this 2nd day of the New Year. The temperature was in the mid 20's with little to no wind and overcast conditions. Over the years, I have come to notice that the creek usually doesn't completely freeze over and that the creeks edges can form some pretty cool ice patterns, which makes for some good photography.
